A CV or Resume entails the employer of your attributes and is a personal marketing document about a prospective employee that include their Skills or ability to do work. Never include Marital status, date of birth, medical documents, religion photographs, copies of your certifications, ID or educational certificates unless requested by the employer.

Layout of CV 

  • Minimize your CV to a maximum of 2 pages and use Calibri Font size 11
  • Try and remove italics and underlined words
  • Write the correct headings , spelling and grammar
  • Simply use bullet points instead of writing down long essays
  • Do not use tables or graphics

Additional Information 

  • At all times, the information should be truthful and accurate about your background and skills you acquired.
  • Include your current physical address or postal address with ZIP code.
  • Include  phone number and  email for example – Gmail or yahoo account
  • Include your highest qualification first and summary of other certifications you have.
  • If you have, many qualifications just include the one needed for the job application only.
  • For work experience include your current employer and their contact address
  • Include your previous job title, professional associations, internships, entrepreneurship skills or volunteer programs you were involved
