The United Nations World Tourism Organisation – UNWTO is a United Nations Specialized agency entrusted in promoting responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism.
It was founded in 1946, at Madrid Spain and is headed, by secretary general: Zurab Pololikashvili. UNWTO priorities the value of tourism as a driver of socio economic growth and development.

Internship Requirements
The United Nations World Tourism Organisation requires the students, to be enrolled or have recently completed a degree. Interns receive a monthly stipend of Euro 500. Interns must have an all risk insurance valid for the duration of internship.
When necessary the organisation assists interns for VISA application; however, interns are responsible for other aspects related to their stay at the duty station.
