Tier 2 Visa Jobs Available
UK has experienced a decades-long shift in immigration patterns, with the 21st century seeing larger and more diverse immigration than ever before. In 1841, only 0.25 per cent of the population of England and Wales was born in a foreign country, increasing to 1.5 per cent by 1901, 2.6 per cent by 1931 and 4.4 per cent in 1951.
UK during the late 1990s saw the pace and scale of migration increased to a level without historical precedent. Indeed, between 2001 and 2018 the foreign-born population doubled from 4.6 million to more than nine million.
UK’s reason for this huge upturn in migration is that under the, Labour Government of 1997-2010 immigration controls were relaxed. Over that period, net foreign migration totalled 3.6 million.

Purovets are searching for a mixed veterinary surgeon to join a proudly independent practice in Shropshire. You will be working at a full-service animal clinic providing modern surgical and hospitalisation facilities. The staff have a wealth of experience in treating all types of conditions, and they have been treating both small and big animals for more than 25 years. They are happy to receiving applications from new graduates, as there will be an abundance of support and guidance available to you.
The caseload is a roughly 70/30 split of small animal and large animal, and they are happy to consider applications from mixed vets or from someone looking to take only the SA or LA side. The role is a 4 day week from 8:30am – 6:30pm, with 1 in 3 weekends from 9am – 12pm. There are no OOHs for small animals, while there is a large animal on-call requirement for 2 nights a week. All rotas are fully flexible, and the practice is happy to find a work/life balance that works for you.
The practice has modern, well-equipped facilities, including digital x-ray, in-house lab, ultrasound and much more. As well as the farm animal aspect of large animal work, they are a member of the British Veterinary Camelid Society and are the leading alpaca vet in the Shropshire/North Wales area. You are guaranteed an exciting and varied caseload that will keep you on your toes and help develop your skills and confidence.
You will be working in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, with the market town of Shrewsbury just a short drive away. Shrewsbury boasts a rich history dating back to medieval times.
