United Nations, UN Administration Internship Jobs – 2025

United Nations Jobs

United Nations, UN was created on 24 October 1945 after 29 countries ratified the UN Charter. The UN’s history includes the drafting of the UN Charter, the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration, and the United Nations Development Programme.

UN Charter drafting

  • In 1943, Secretary of State Cordell Hull and British Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden agreed to draft a declaration that called for an international organization.
  • In 1944, representatives from the U.S., Britain, the Soviet Union, and China met at Dumbarton Oaks to draft the charter.

United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration

  • This administration helped Europe recover after World War II, especially Eastern and Southern Europe. Many argue that it was a major success in delivering aid, food, and medicine.
