Action Against Hunger has been operating in Africa since 1982. Its mission is part of a long-term Sahelian strategy that combines emergency responses (nutritional crisis, natural disasters, epidemics) aimed at reducing mortality and morbidity with long-term approaches based on the notion of resilience, aimed at reducing the level of vulnerability of the populations in this Sahelian strip.
Action Against Hunger in Chad develops programs to combat severe acute malnutrition and food security. To date, its activities are carried out in Kanem and Bahr El Ghazal from the Mao base, in the lake from the Baga Sola base, in Wadaï from the Adré base and in Sila from the Goz Beïda base. N’Djamena is the mission’s capital base and serves to supply programs developed from Mao, Baga Sola, Adré and Goz Beïda.
Action Against Hunger under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, your mission will be to identify and implement quality, relevant and innovative SMSP interventions in compliance with the strategy, ACF and international standards and national policies.

In this context, your responsibilities will be to:
- Provide input into the SMSP department’s strategy and positioning
- Identify needs and contribute to the formulation of projects
- Ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of SMSP projects
- Contribute to the Quality and Accountability processes and to the measurement of the program’s impact
- Participate in ACF coordination, representation and partnerships in the intervention area
- Supervise and manage your teams
- Contribute to capitalization and technical development within the sector
- Guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of data collected during SMSP activities
Holder of a diploma in psychology, psychiatry or psychomotor therapist, you have at least 2 years of experience in these fields, including clinical experience, team management and humanitarian work.
You have already worked in the evaluation and implementation of PM+ and TeamUp approaches, and you have skills in project management and training.

You have a good knowledge of French and/or English, both spoken and written.
Your conditions of employment
- Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months
- Gross monthly salary: from €2,130 to €2,475 depending on experience, including 13th month
- Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
- Basic salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
- Per diem and monthly living expenses: €767 net, paid on the ground
- Monthly context allowance: €300
- Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of €6,000/year)
- Transport and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
- Medical Coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses up to 1 month after the end of your contract
- Salary maintenance arrangements (sickness, maternity, paternity)
- Holidays and RnR: 25 days per year of holiday leave and 20 RnR per year; cover for the ticket with a ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and €215 fixed compensation per RnR
