UNHCR – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is the refugee organization of the United Nations. Founded in 1950 and working in over 135 countries to help and protect people who are forced to flee. Currently, a record number of over 114 million people are forced to flee conflict and persecution. Therefore, our work is more important than ever.
UNHCR has traditionally been funded by voluntary contributions from member states. In addition, due to the enormous growth in the number of people fleeing, fundraising in the private sector has become increasingly important. For the coming years, UNHCR’s ambition is to grow from $1 billion to $2 billion in private donations worldwide. We offer you an opportunity to contribute to this growth in a driven, professional, and dynamic team.
