Marketing & Fundraising department , we are seeking a dedicated Team Leader for Donation Services, starting January 15, 2026, or by agreement. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in shaping Helvetas’ first impression and ensure that our donors always feel valued and well supported.

The purpose of the Senior Infrastructure Officer is to lead trail bridge construction designs, prepare tender documents, and ensure quality implementation in line with standards, specifications, and guidelines. The position holder guides and advises field-based Infrastructure Officers to provide up-to-standard technical support in trail bridge construction and trail improvement.

S/He will deliver capacity development through ToT trainings and provide technical support on design, construction, operation, and maintenance of trail bridges and trail improvements for staff, government, private actors, and communities.

YOUR TASKS 

• Lead, develop and empower the team in the donation service – and ensure a professional service in Germany, France, and Italy, as well as a positive external image.
• Advise donors by phone and in writing, resolve concerns efficiently, and inspire them over the phone about the impact of their donation in order to strengthen long-term relationships.
• Plan resources and deployments proactively; ensure continuous knowledge transfer and guarantee smooth processes.
• Further develop process automation and digitalization; ensure high data quality and correctly record donations in the CRM.
• Optimize fundraising measures in close collaboration with direct marketing.
• Strengthen donor loyalty and foster trust through personal, appreciative support

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Commercial training and several years of experience in team leadership
• Strong donor and customer focus, as well as confident and persuasive telephone communication (ideally with call center experience)
• Good ICT and CRM skills as well as proficient use of common office programs.
• Interest in development cooperation and the values ​​of Helvetas
• Excellent German skills as well as good French and English skills; Italian skills are an advantage.
