Summary
Rula Homecare are recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistants within Leiston and Aldeburgh area.
You will be required to undertake the following duties but not limited to;
– Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes
– Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Help with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
– Accompany clients to appointments and outings
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
– Document and report any changes in client’s condition to the appropriate supervisor
The right applicants will hold the following skills;
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Compassionate and caring nature
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently
– Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and client needs
– Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and infection control protocols
Please note that previous experience as a Care Assistant is essential.
Due to the rural location you will be required to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
