- PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- To deliver all goods to the various departments within the Refineries in accordance with the company procedure and to collect goods from or delivery goods to suppliers.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed Grade 12 certificate essential.
- Valid Code C1 drivers license with Public Drivers Permit (PDP) are essential.
- Valid forklift license and warehouse qualification will be an advantage.
- 1 year driving experience with light / heavy duty vehicles.
- Knowledge of material handling and safe stacking practices.
- Knowledge in handling hazardous substances and health and safety standards.
- Good communication and customer services skills.
- Medically fit.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Delivering all goods loaded onto the store vehicles;
- Load goods and material into cages and trucks using a forklift;
- Transport material and equipment using a light delivery vehicle / truck.
- Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and adhere to Road Traffic Regulations.
- Perform all activities according to Health and Safety standards.
- Ensure good housekeeping.
