GIZ is Seeking Data management Interns – 2025

Data Management Interns

GIZ seeks a better life for everyone and meaningful work for our employees – that’s our model for success. For more than 50 years, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a German Federal Government company, has been supporting the global implementation of development policy goals.

GIZ together with partner organizations in 120 countries, we are involved in a wide variety of projects. If you want to make a difference in the world and develop yourself in the process, you’ve come to the right place.

GIZ and the German Government has supported Afghanistan’s reconstruction efforts over the past 20 years. This German engagement was made possible largely through the deployment of Afghan local staff. In addition, numerous Afghans—some in prominent positions and in close cooperation with German agencies—worked to promote human rights, particularly those of women and girls, democracy, freedom of expression, and other issues of German interest. GIZ supports the German Government in the logistical implementation of the relevant admission programs.

Global supply chains shape the lives of billions of people and influence the environment, biodiversity, and climate. The Sector Project (SP) Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains promotes the improvement of social, economic, and ecological sustainability in global agricultural supply chains on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It is part of the “Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains Initiative” (SASI) cluster, which consists of three complementary agricultural supply chain projects.

The SP focuses on selected agricultural products such as cocoa, coffee, and palm oil, as well as topics such as combating abusive child labor, ensuring living incomes and wages, and protecting forests and climate. The project advises the client and promotes both sector-specific and cross-stakeholder partnerships and alliances. It relies on a coordinated, strategic approach with relevant stakeholders from politics, the private sector, and civil society.
