Mobilizing the private sector plays a crucial role in Ukraine’s reconstruction, as it cannot be financed solely with public funds. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) acts as an enabler of the German economy and creates a favorable framework that allows German companies to participate in Ukraine’s economic reconstruction.
To this end, the project advises the BMWE on potential conceptual approaches for Ukraine’s sustainable economic reconstruction. A particular focus is on strengthening the involvement of the private sector and making more effective use of German public funds.
In addition to this strategic advice, the project makes an important contribution to Ukraine’s holistic and sustainable economic reconstruction, particularly through exchange and networking formats with Ukrainian, German, European, and relevant international stakeholders.
