The focus is on topics such as internet governance, data sovereignty and data protection, artificial intelligence, and promoting the digitalization potential of small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the internship you will carry out the following tasks:
- Support of project activities, including the organization of (virtual) specialist workshops, conferences, high-level delegation visits and ministerial coordination meetings
- Monitoring developments in international digital policy and trends in new technologies
- Technical research, preparation of briefings, articles, news monitoring
- Support in the creation and updating of publications, presentations and communication materials
- Editorial activities for internal and external communication channels (e.g. website, LinkedIn)
- Translation tasks (German, English)
- You are studying political science, economics, social sciences, communication science or another relevant subject, or have recently successfully completed your studies.
- You have knowledge in the field of digitalization or digital policy.
- You have initial work experience in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism.
- You have excellent skills in quickly exploring new subject areas and understanding political, economic, or technological trends.
- Your German language skills (written and spoken) are excellent, and your English is demonstrably very good (e.g. through studies abroad or in English or a qualified English test).
- You work in a very structured and independent manner and have strong social and intercultural skills, the ability to work in a team and very good communication skills.
- Equally important is a very good knowledge of common office software and apps.
- You are open to traveling for business if necessary.

The monthly intern salary is €2,205.04 (gross).
