Jhpiego Internship program aim at providing experiences to young professionals and mentor them into professional roles. This internship will provide an experience to a young professional to get good on the job experiences, the tasks involved are not critical and do not require a full-time staff to complete.
Jhpiego the Administrative Intern will have hands-on experience and the ability to learn and gain work experience, which will support the candidate in the job search and increase his/her experience in the Office Administration tasks.
Jhpiego focuses on advancing integration of SRHR, and communicable diseases (e.g., HIV, TB, malaria), and strengthening the use of strategic information for decision-making and program improvement.
Jhpiego strategic role requires an exceptional individual with professional expertise in multi-disease programming who can establish robust data systems, ensure evidence-based decision making, and support adaptive management approaches while maintaining rights-based monitoring frameworks.

Responsibilities
• Follow up on obsolete item to be disposed after the inventory count
• Work on memo for disposal list of assets after the final report for verification
• Generate GRN for received supplies/inventory
• Work on distribution of the bulk items procured for program
• Receiving, issuing and tracking the Jhpiego assets to make sure they are all updated to the
system
• Liaise with the Program team to send out the procured supplies for
• Raise requisition for office supplies i.e. stationery, kitchen material as required
• Regularly update to the stores ledger and raise GSR for replenishment of supplies timely
• Record new asset to the system immediately after receipt
Required Qualifications
Recent graduate with a Diploma or higher qualification, preferably in the field of Business
Administration or Stores Management
• Willingness to Intern, learn and gain workplace experience.
• Availability to start immediately and willingness to commit for at least three months
• Be of high integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Passion and desire to work with people at different levels and cultures
• Resident of Dar es Salaam
Preferred Qualifications
• Good written and oral communication and presentation skills in Kiswahili and English.
• Computer literate in standard software including MS Office 365 (especially MS Word< MS Excel and
MS Outlook)
