You will support the Online Communications group of GIZ Corporate Communications in Bonn with digital communication on the internet and the company’s social media channels.
This includes, among others:
- Support in the ongoing maintenance of online services in coordination with the specialist units
- Support in advising internal customers on online media
- Support for projects to expand the website
- Researching texts for the website or editing news/reports
In social media, you will primarily support with topic planning, campaign conception and implementation, social media monitoring, and network maintenance.
More than 2.7 million Syrians still live in Turkey. GIZ is strengthening their economic participation and social cohesion in the communities that have hosted them.

You will also assume support activities in the core areas of online communication.
You are studying media/communications studies or a comparable field and have completed a basic degree. You are a native speaker of German and have some editorial experience. You have strong language skills and are familiar with the basics of communication in online media and the online-specific requirements for copywriting. You are able to structure and complete your tasks well and efficiently. You have a basic understanding of the technical fundamentals of online communication and a digital mindset. Finally, you have very good English skills.
You are interested in learning about the corporate communications processes of an internationally active federal company. You are passionate about political communication and international cooperation and enjoy working in a team.
