The placement for development workers is anchored in the “Sustainable Ecosystem and Agriculture Management for Rural Development in Mongolia” (STREAM+) project, which is being implemented jointly by GIZ and FAO in cooperation with the relevant Mongolian ministries. The project aims to increase productivity, improve livelihoods, and strengthen the resilience of species-rich ecosystems by promoting sustainable practices in agriculture and forestry, improving vocational training, and introducing green technologies.
GIZ objective of the vocational training component is to provide vocational school teachers and company trainers with professional and methodological training, as well as to align training at the Murun Polytechnic more closely with the needs of the private sector.
