Save the Children Fund, known as Save the Children or SCF, covers the whole spectrum of the charity’s work, both in the UK and overseas, in terms of child welfare, education and health, children’s rights, and wider humanitarian relief; its work with other international and voluntary aid agencies and its relations with governments; and its involvement in social and political debates, such as the raising of the school leaving age.
Save the Children is a collection contains material documenting high level decision making within the Fund, including an incomplete sequence of minutes and papers for the meeting of the Council, Executive and Departmental Committees. Other high level decision making and corporate administration papers include a large series of Director General’s papers, principally of Sir Colin Thornley (1965-1974) and of John A. Cumber (1976-1984), but also from other Director General’s; Directors’ and Department Heads meeting papers; governance, strategy and policy papers; and material regarding finance, staff and Human Resources.

Under the direction of Finance Officer, the Finance Intern will be responsible for supporting the finance team in all kinds of archiving, including collecting supporting documents, uploading soft copies to finance archive, keeping track of all expenses occurred in SCI TCO.
In order to be successful, you will bring/have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Turkish.
- Strong Excel knowledge and good documentation skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and establish relationships with other teams/offices
- Cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Good time management and planning capacity.
Position holder will be based in Hatay, therefore legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application. Applications will be evaluated in a rolling basis.
