The above-mentioned vacancy exists in the Production Dept. This position reports to the Line Superintendent. Applications from suitably qualified candidates are invited Nampak, Rosslyn. This position is graded at a Peromnes 12 level.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that breakdowns are attended to in time.
- Ensuring that all planned maintenances are completed as per schedule.
- Providing maximum machine efficiency with minimum breakdowns.
- Ensuring that maintenance carried out is of high quality.
The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matric/N3
- Trade Fitter & Turner and or Fitting trade qualification is essential
- 3 years’ experience in a fast-moving packaging manufacturing environment
- Can making experience will be an advantage
- Must be computer literate
- Understand quality controls and be able to complete checks pertaining to quality
- Trouble shooting initiatives
- Have technical understanding and mechanical aptitude
