The above-mentioned vacancy exists in the Production Dept. This position reports to the Line Superintendent. Applications from suitably qualified candidates are invited Nampak, Rosslyn. This position is graded at a Peromnes 12 level.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that breakdowns are attended to in time.
  • Ensuring that all planned maintenances are completed as per schedule.
  • Providing maximum machine efficiency with minimum breakdowns.
  • Ensuring that maintenance carried out is of high quality.

The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Matric/N3
  • Trade Fitter & Turner and or Fitting trade qualification is essential
  • 3 years’ experience in a fast-moving packaging manufacturing environment
  • Can making experience will be an advantage
  • Must be computer literate
  • Understand quality controls and be able to complete checks pertaining to quality
  • Trouble shooting initiatives
  • Have technical understanding and mechanical aptitude

Due to the highly competitive nature of the programme, positions are limited. As a requirement, the minimum qualification is a degree in: accounting/finance, engineering, human resources, information technology/business systems, logistics/supply chain, sales and marketing or production/manufacturing.
