University of Montreal CANADA Scholarship for International Students (2023)

The University of Montreal became a public institution of higher learning and research in 1967, with provisions for participation in its governance from professors, students, and alumni. The institution established a permanent committee in 1976 to assess the requirements of female students and advance their status on campus. The university established its Office for International Cooperation (Bureau de la Cooperation International) in 1985. In 2000, it changed its name to Direction des Relations Internationals (Directorate for International Relations).

Programs and Faculties
The Polytechnic Montréal and HEC Montréal are two of the 16 colleges that make up the University of Montréal as of 2017. Around 67,600 students are enrolled throughout these three universities in more than 600 undergraduate, master’s, and doctorate programs.

One of the best francophone research universities in the world is the focus of this new program, which aims to support the brightest students from around the globe. In exchange, by enhancing the cultural richness of the University of Montreal community, these foreign students will assist us in achieving our educational objective.

International students are encouraged to apply for the University of Montreal’s exemption scholarship program. They may be entitled to a reduction in the tuition fees typically assessed to international students beginning in the fall of 2020. For the winter 2023, summer 2023, fall 2023, and winter 2024 periods, scholarships will still be awarded.

How to apply for Scholarship ?

Make sure to adhere to the application deadlines and review the admissions requirements for the study programs you are interested in before starting the application process.

You will get your “Student Centre” access codes a few days after submitting your admissions application. This is the website where you can keep track of your application and get a letter of approval.

Applying for an UdeM Exemption Scholarship is optional. To ascertain their eligibility and the amount of their exemption scholarship, new candidates’ files will be reviewed.

The University of Montréal will swiftly email you after receiving your admissions offer to let you know how much of a scholarship you are eligible for. This document should be printed and stored safely. For reference in the future, it will be helpful.
