UNHCR is recruiting a Senior Donor Care and Administration Assistant (IG) in Copenhagen, Denmark.

UNHCR’s Private Sector Partnerships team for Denmark was established in 2018 and covers both fundraising from individuals and partnerships with the Danish private sector. PSP Denmark is experiencing strong growth. One of our key priorities is to further accelerate our Individual Giving programme focused on growing the support of individuals through various fundraising and engagement campaigns. We use a variety of channels, both digital and offline, and enjoy strong support and loyalty from our fast-growing donor base in Denmark.

Under the supervision of the Head of Individual Giving in Denmark, the tasks of the Senior Donor Care and Administration Assistant (IG) will be the following:
• Manage all individual donor care activities and secure a timely response to donor inquiries;
• Assist with management of PSP Denmark’s donor database ensuring that donor records are kept up to date;
• Assist with payment systems and gateways and other donor touchpoints, continuously securing business continuity and donor satisfaction;
• Assist with administration, payment of invoices, management of vendor relationships, updating of service agreements, purchase orders as well as other contractual documents;
• Assist with procurement of services, including tender processes;
• Manage internal monthly income recording and expense ledger;
• Manage annual reporting to the Danish authorities; including tax reporting and income reporting;
• Assist with community management on UNHCR’s social media channels in Denmark;
• Perform ad-hoc communication tasks, including proof reading;
• Perform other related duties that may be required.
Essential minimum qualifications and professional experience required
The ideal candidate will be required to have:
Education and Work experience:
• Completed secondary education with preferably a degree in Finance, Marketing/Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with secondary education or minimum 1 year of relevant work experience with Undergraduate degree (equivalent of a Bachelor’s or higher degree);
• Relevant work experience in a finance, marketing/fundraising or communications unit, preferably in a not-for-profit organization, an international organization, large corporate, a marketing/fundraising consultancy firm or similar;
• Experience with donor/customer service programs;
• Experience with planning, budgeting, reporting and administration;
• Experience with database management and CRM systems;
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Key Competencies:
Required
• Fluency in English and Danish;
• Service minded with strong interpersonal skills as a team player and ability to manage relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders and donors;
